For non-linear conversions like temperature (where a simple ratio does not apply), we use the exact algebraic formulae defined by international standards bodies.

We display both the numerical result and the formula used, so you can verify the calculation yourself or use the formula in your own work. Results are rounded for readability but the underlying precision is maintained throughout.

The site is built as a static web application, which means there is no server-side calculation delay — your conversion happens instantly in the browser, and the pages load as fast as any static document on the web.
